UPDATE - Websites keep going online. Main outstanding issue is front page extension websites that are loading blank. If your website requests a password please email the site to support@cfmenterprises.com so we can fix that. FTP Access instructions will be uploaded ASAP.
UPDATE - We are in the process of setting up all the websites in a different server because the corruption seems to be unrecoverable. Websites are coming online one by one. Please send an email to support@cfmenterprises.com if you notice any weird behavior or if a domain alias or page is not loading.

UPDATE - Restoration of the corrupted files from the bad update is taking longer than we have hoped for but it is being worked on.
Web/FTP Server had a Windows Update error late last night and is being worked on this morning. We anticipate a resolution by 10 AM Central Time and will update this page with any new information.
Apr 29, 2010:

SMTP Service Extension for Command Pipelining (STD 60), The Internet Society 3. Remove Me Responses and Responsibilities: E-mail Marketers Must Honor Unsubscribe Claims, Federal Trade Commission 4. Basic E-Mailing List Management Guidelines for Preventing Abuse, E-mail Abuse Prevention System

Dec 7, 2009.
The ip address of our mail server and database servers have changed due to the server upgrade.
If you are not having success downloading your email, go to Windows Start
button and click Run. Type in cmd. This will bring up a black
box. Type in ipconfig /flushdns (there is one space between the g and the
/). Press enter, should say the DNS Resolver Cache was flushed.
Your mail should then start downloading to Outlook.
If your website is not connecting to the database server, be sure your are not using an ip address that forces a connection to the old server. You should use mysql.domainname.com (for example mysql.cfmenterprises.com) to connect to the database.
Nov 20-21 2010 Server Updates Saturday November 21, 2009 0735 CENTRAL The migration is still underway, but taking longer than expected. Services will remain down until this is completed, and we will update this messages once it is complete. Once again we will try to keep as many services available as possible during the migration, only shutting down the portion of the server being moved. However, it is best to anticipate all services being down. Nov 20-21 2010 Server Updates Please remember that starting at 10:30 PM Central Time on the 20th the servers will be shut down for a major upgrade. Services will be restored no later than 7 AM Central on the morning of the 21st. The process will be repeated at 10:30 PM Central Time on the 21st, with the server coming back online at 7 AM Central time the morning of the 22nd.
As much as possible we will try to keep as many services available as possible during the migration, only shutting down the portion of the server being moved. However, it is best to anticipate all services being down. We will update this as much as possible, although this site will also be periodically affected during the upgrades.
FTP Services on Friday Evening 9/26 - Sat AM 9/27 Please be aware that as we complete the transition for the new server hard drive we will move the web server files from the old drive to the new drive starting Friday evening. In order to keep the server up and running during the copying process, it will be necessary that you are aware that changes made to your website during the above time frame may be "lost" depending on when you make them. In other words, please only make emergency updates to your websites starting at 7 PM Central time. If you do make such an update, be aware that you will have to re-send the update on Saturday morning after the copy process is done.
3/30 AUTOMATIC EMAIL RESPONSES If you are using a "Support Ticket" system for your website, please make sure that you are not sending auto-responses to inquiries sent by email. Otherwise, your system will try to send canned responses to every SPAM email sent to your account.
3/23 WEB FORMS AND SPAM To reduce the chances of robots using your forms to send SPAM, you should have some form of verification field (enter the word/phrase on this image or answer this random question). Thus, a robot would not be able to answer the question correctly and emails won't go out with SPAM content to you. Makes things better for both the server and your time spent handling bogus inquiries/submissions.
8/14 SMARTER MAIL AND IE There may be a compatibility issue with IE 5.x and the new Smarter Mail Upgrade. IE is currently in version 7.x. Smarter Tools (the creators of Smarter Mail) highly recommends that any IE 5.x be upgraded to at least 6.x. If your having issues operating your Web Mail and your IE is version 5.x, you should upgrade IE at www.microsoft.com.
8/14 SMARTER MAIL UPGRADE We have installed a new vertion of SmaterMail over night, along with standard server upgrades. General server upgrades were also installed. You may have experienced temporary downtime of email services during rebooting, but nothing major.
If you use Web Mail, you will immediately notice the new Smater Mail interface. The internal help features should make your web mail experience more enjoyable, as well as provides upgrades in regards to managing spam, among others.
8/5 NOTICE ON POSSIBLE DUPLICATE CHARGES:
Any duplicate transaction in the system has already been voided. IT WILL NOT SHOW on your credit card statement. We apologize for the mistake, we still have both the old server and the new server running and the old server decided to shoot out billings. Any transaction voided by 6 PM Eastern Time does not make it to your bank and no money will be exchanged. You will NOT see a refund, because your credit card will NOT be billed. If you have any questions, or if by any chance you do actually get billed twice, please just make a copy of either your online or paper statement showing the charges and we will gladly issue you a refund by check. But this should not be necessary.
7/31 UPDATE ON SERVER UPGRADES: Mail transfer is now complete. All services are up. There may be a few minor features that may not work on the HELM Control Panel. We are going through each feature to ensure all is working properly.
Chances are that you WILL have email stuck in the old mail server. There are two ways to download your email:
1- Go to http://216.40.230.124which will take you to our old mail server. Log in using your email address and password. You can view and manage your there. You should NOT send email from this server though, as it will probably fail SPAM filters because it's going to be sent from the wrong IP address.
2- Temporarily update your Outlook, changing the incoming mail server (POP3) to the IP Address 216.40.230.124. Download any email stuck on the server. Then change it back to the normal mail.yourdomain.com or mail.cfmenterprises.com.
We will have this service open through Saturday.
7/30 UPDATE ON SERVER UPGRADES: Web transfer is now complete! FTP functionality is now live and no longer have to worry about doing duplicate work. However, we recommend for the short term that you use the ip address 74.53.189.14 for ftp, just in case your ISP is still resolving to the old web server.
Also note that if you are using any database for your website such as mysql...you should make sure that you are using the mysql.cfmenterprises.com or mysql.e-nethost.com or mysql.yourdomain.com and NOT THE IP ADDRESS. If you are resolving to the IP Address, you will not be resolving to the new server and may experience data loss.
UPDATE ON SERVER UPGRADES: The snapshot of the old web server is taking place over night. The time to copy the files over will be longer than expected. This means the following: 1- Any updates to web pages that take place from now till the snap shot is complete and the web server IP's changed will have to be done again...or you can let us know so we can take a snapshot specific to your website. 2- The mail server shut down we were anticipating will NOT take place. Instead, mail will remain operational during the night while we take the snapshot of your mail. However, there is the possibility of your Outlook not downloading a group of emails depending on when your last synch will happen. Thus, we will setup the following web mail setup http://oldmail.cfmenterprises.com. This web mail service will remain active through the first week of August, at which time the old mail server will be shut down.

NOTICE: July 26th, 2007 CFM Has acquired a new server and will run a major upgrade on the nights of Sunday, July 29th and Monday, July 30th starting at 9 PM EDT.
On Sunday, July 29th we will transfer the Websites to the new server. This means that starting at 9 PM, any updates done with FrontPage or FTP may not make it to the new server. We would highly recommend that no web page updates be done after 9 PM EDT, unless there is an emergency. In this case, you should monitor your website such that when the server update is completed you re-send your update to the new server.
On Monday, July 30th we will transfer Mail. This means that Mail will be temporarily inaccessible for about 1-2 hours. On most cases, any incoming mail will be received once the upgrade is completed. Normal mail server behavior will be to retry delivery for a couple of hours, which should be ample time to allow us to complete the upgrade.
